LED Art Inspires Wonder And Philanthropy

The Bay Bridge Lights will now become a permanent part of San Francisco's night time scenery. How much funding did it take to make the 25,000 lights live on?  

To commemorate its 75th anniversary, San Franciso’s Bay Bridge was artfully illuminated with a 25,000 LED light sculpture that reached 1.8 miles.

Through a complex network of public outdoor lighting and sensors, drivers, city workers, pedestrians, and especially bikers would be able to better interact and move within their city.
